Gift Guide for K-Beauty Enthusiasts

Gift Guide for K-Beauty EnthusiastsGift Guide for K-Beauty Enthusiasts

K-beauty, or Korean beauty, products are everywhere nowadays. Besides being sold in specialized stores like Sephora, it’s also offered in big box stores like Target and even Wal-mart!

Clearly word has spread about how great K-beauty products are. So it’s no surprise that more and more women are becoming diehard K-beauty enthusiasts after dipping a toe, or rather a finger, in a fabulous product or two.

To help you navigate all the K-beauty products out there in case you’re looking or the perfect gift for the K-beauty user in your life or, if in fact, it’s just for yourself, here are the best K-beauty products I’ve come across.

17 K-Beauty Products Anyone Would Love To Get

Gift or Travel Sets

Milk Body Shower and Body Lotion Set – Nobody has time to luxuriate in a milky bath. Not to mention, who wants to waste all that milk?! Well this solves both problems. Now you can luxuriate in the shower with the milk body shower. And the lotion absorbs quickly and is non-greasy. And they smell amazing!

Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Skin Care Set (For Normal to Combination Skin) – Innisfree makes amazing products and I’ve been using them for awhile now. (Fun fact: Innisfree is rather popular with male youth in South Korea. Go figure!) This gift/travel set includes a full sized toner (200ml) and lotion (160ml), travel sized toner (15ml) and lotion (15ml), and a cream (10ml). The smell is light and pleasant.

Sulwhasoo Basic Sample Kit II – The Sulwhasoo lines screams elegant sophistication. This boxed five step travel set would make a great gift for stepping a toe into that world of sophistication. Seriously, I always feel kind-of grown-up when I use anything from them.

The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Cleansing Foam and Light Cleansing Oil – Although I was hesitant to use an oil on my combination skin, I’m so glad I did. This cleansing foam and oil set removes make-up and cleanses the face without drying.

BB Creams

Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly BB Cream – This is a lightweight BB cream for medium coverage that dries matte. It’s great for people with combination skin! And it’s especially great during the summer.

Missha M Perfect BB Cream – This is another lightweight BB cream but it provides more coverage for those dark spots. Its coverage is impressive and it even has UV protection. If you have acne scars or spots of uneven skin tone (I mean, who doesn’t?) you will definitely want to try this out or give it to someone who could use it.

Other Cosmetics

Innisfree No-Sebum Mineral Powder – This is a magical powder! To set my foundation, I tap a little into the cap and use a flat tipped make-up brush to apply it to my face after I’ve put on my BB cream. I usually do another sweep across my forehead for extra shine control. It’s a translucent powder that makes my make-up feel like it isn’t melting off my face by the end of the day.

Skincare

Laneige Water Sleeping Mask – This facial moisturizer is amazing! It’s an overnight skin care cream for hydration and brightening. And you’re only supposed to use it 1-2 times per week. This moisturizer is light yet ultra-hydrating. It doesn’t make my skin breakout and it smells great!

Skin Food Peach Sake Pore Skincare Serum – This is another one for great oil control. I apply this serum to my forehead and nose before anything else. It comes in a small pump bottle but a little goes a long way.

Etude House 10-in-1 Wonder Pore Freshener – This “freshener” is really a toner. I use it to get whatever make-up is left on my face after washing with a foam cleanser, or just when I need to clean my face before applying a moisturizer. My face feels ultra-clean after using it.

Elizavecca Hell Pore Control Hyaluronic Acid Serum – This serum is great for reducing pores. Plus it smells great and there’s a cute piggy on the bottle.

SNP Animals Character Printed Mask (4 Animals, 2 each) – These facial masks are just plain fun! Yes, they’ll make your face feel amazing afterwards but really, it’s about the animal prints! There’s tiger, panda, otter, and dragon.

Elizavecca Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask – Feel clean like you never have before with this clay mask, as it exfoliates stubborn pores. You apply the clay and it begins to bubble up. Wait a few minutes and then you wipe and/or wash it away, along with whatever gunk it pulled out of your pores.

Etude House Collagen Eye Patch (10 Pack) – I’d be remiss if I didn’t include my favorite eye mask/patch here. If you’re a haggard mom like me, or know one, she will truly appreciate these patches. They go under your eyes to hydrate and brighten those dreadful bags. These are great for those times when you don’t have time to take a nap but need a pick me up!

Hand Cream

Etude House Missing U Hand Cream – I’ve talked about this before, but it’s just so cute, I had to include them here. The cream absorbs quickly into the skin and has a light scent. The container is a cute little endangered animal (panda, harp seal, pink dolphin, fairy penguin). And some of the proceeds go to saving these animals.

Lip Balm

Oh K! Korean Cat and Bear Lip Balms (White Peach and Cotton Candy) – These are adorable lip balms are just as cute as the Etude House Missing U Hand Creams I listed above. They’re about the size of an EOS lip balm, but ten times cuter and smell yummy.

Other Cuteness

Etude House Newpioneer My Beauty Tool Lovely Cat’s Ear Etti Hair Band – This hilariously cute kitty eared headband will keep your hair out of your face while you do all those K-beauty cleansing and moisturizing steps.

If you know someone who’s a K-beauty enthusiast or who’s looking to get into K-beauty products, you’re sure to find a hit on this list! Not to mention that the packaging on most of these are adorable!

Have you tried any of these products? Is there a favorite that wasn’t on the list? Share in the comments!
